Our friend from Chile – Sebastian Salinas – arrived in Kenya last Wednesday. He is the founder and director of Emprediem (www.emprediem.com) a Chilean company specialising in teaching entrepreneurship and innovation. Emprediem have thus far trained 136 companies and 130 entrepreneurs from different regions in the south of Chile. We are very excited to partner with them and take our programme outside of the UK and Kenya. It is exciting that this partnership is already being talked about in the Chilean media. It is also wonderful to have some fresh insights and thoughts at this stage of our project in Kenya.
The first ChileWorks project will be launched in July 2012 and the Chilean Government and various corporations are already enthused about our work and are keen to get involved. On top of the two KenyaWorks programes planned 2012 is shapping up to be a very exciting time.
